Fundraising Update & Transparency Note
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support for Dastkar Fire Relief Fund.
- Estimated fundraising target: approx. ₹14 crores [Loss of Goods + Loss of Infra]
- Funds received so far (as of yesterday, 30/03/2026): ₹69 lakhs via donation link & 9 lakh 75 thousand via bank transfer
- Of this we have distributed 39 lakhs to the affected stall holders on 20/03/2026 in first tranche & 39 lakhs 75 thousand to the affected stall holders on 30/03/2026 in second tranche.

This target is a preliminary, rough estimate based on self-declared losses shared by the affected stall holders. Our team is currently working closely with affected stall holders to help them refine their estimates, alongside assessments with architects and technical experts to evaluate the cost of rebuilding infrastructure.
As this process is ongoing, the final target will be refined further to reflect a more accurate and fair assessment of both livelihood and infrastructure losses.
We are committed to complete transparency. All donors will receive a detailed report outlining how the funds have been allocated and utilized.
